Explanation eIDAS (English)
Are you planning to visit our city hall or another governmental building? In many cases, you have to present your Identity Card (ID), passport or driver’s license to show proof of identity. Government organizations will then know that it really is you they are dealing with. If you request a product or service online, the municipality would like to verify your identity as well. You prove your identity by logging in with your DigiD. (DigiD stands for Digital identity. Using your DigiD, you can log into the websites of Dutch government agencies and the Dutch healthcare sector.)
Do you not have a DigiD because you are not a Dutch citizen and/or because you do not live in the Kingdom of The Netherlands? In that case, you can still request some products or services online by logging in with the identification system of your own country (eIDAS). Gaat u naar het gemeentehuis, of naar het loket van een andere overheidsinstelling? Dan moet u in veel gevallen uw identiteitskaart, paspoort of rijbewijs laten zien. Zo weet de overheid wie u bent. Als u een product of dienst online aanvraagt, wil de gemeente ook graag zeker weten dat u het bent. Dat laat u zien door in te loggen met uw DigiD.
Woont u niet in Nederland of bent u geen Nederlander (meer) en heeft u geen DigiD? Ook dan kunt u bij de gemeente Zevenaar een aantal producten online aanvragen met het identificatiemiddel van uw eigen land. Op dit moment is het mogelijk de volgende producten aan te vragen:
